Responsibilities

  • Performs quality assurance functions as assigned by Director of Dietary Services. 

  • Prepare and serve food for the Walker Center.

  • Complete cleaning checklist.

  • Monitor temperatures on salad bar, freezer, walk-in, dishwasher, and all beverages.

  • Verify Inventory everyday 

  • Put away and check freight for quality

  • Keep stock updated and turn food and supply orders 

  • Maintain and clean kitchen equipment

  • Receive deliveries in absence of the Director of Dietary Services

Qualifications

  • Any self-identified person in recovery from a Substance Use Disorder must have a minimum of two years of sobriety from substances of abuse. 

  • Must pass pre-hire requirements including a criminal background check, UA, and TB test. 

  • Must obtain a ServSafe Certification within the 90-day initial employment period.
