  • Getting an assessment can be an intimidating process. Our goal is to gather the necessary information to determine if a client needs or qualifies for drug and alcohol treatment, or mental health counseling. The assessments can be scheduled from one to three hours based on a client’s need. It can also vary by funding purposes and referral source. The assessments gather information from several aspects of life, such as mental health, physical health, substance use, and environmental factors, among others. Based on the information that is provided, the most appropriate level of care will be determined. For this reason, it is important that clients provide honest and accurate information. An assessment provides a recommendation of what may benefit a client, it is then the client’s choice to determine what to do with that recommendation.
