Debbie Thomas Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award
We are thrilled to announce that Debbie Thomas, CEO of The Walker Center, has been recognized with the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Idaho Counseling Association. This award celebrates Debbie’s 35+ years of dedicated service in addiction recovery and behavioral health.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor, Debbie’s leadership has transformed countless lives. In addition to guiding The Walker Center, she has served on the Idaho Behavioral Health Advisory Committee and led numerous initiatives to improve mental health care across the state. Her commitment to reducing stigma and advocating for better systems of care is truly inspiring.
What makes Debbie’s work even more impactful is her heart. She brings compassion, resilience, and a personal touch to everything she does, whether serving her clients, leading our team, or volunteering in her community. Her passion for helping others and inspiring hope is evident in every aspect of her life.
